Nike is set to drop the Air Jordan 1 “Game Royal” 2.0 in May

Nike has been fiddling around with the color blocking of retro colorways of the Air Jordan 1.

Update: May 7, 9:55 am (Singapore time)
The Air Jordan 1 “Game Royal” will drop on May 9! You can cop a pair on End Launches, Nike SNKRS and Footpatrol.

The 2.0 iteration of the Air Jordan 1 “Royal” drops on May 9.

Jordan brand and Nike have been tinkering with the classic colorways of the Air Jordan 1. The Air Jordan 1 “Bred” became the “Varsity Red” and the 2020 AJ1 “Court Purple” saw a brand new color blocking. Now, Nike is putting a new spin on the “Royal” colorway, resulting in the new Air Jordan 1 “Game Royal”.

The 2.0 royal colorway resembles the color blocking seen on AJ1 “Bred Toe”. The sneaker uses black leather overlays and Swooshes set atop a white leather midsection. Hints of blue can be seen on the toe box, ankle collar and outsole. The sneaker doesn’t meddle with the classic Air Jordan 1 construction – it comes with a full smooth leather upper, white midsole and a black nylon tongue.
