The #AirDior Jordan 1 has been making a splash since it was first rumored in 2019. The Italian-crafted sneaker was one of the first luxury crossovers for Jordan Brand. But as the Covid-19 pandemic worsened and Italy spiraled into lockdown, the highly anticipated #AirDior Jordan 1 has been delayed. Though, if we are being honest, most of us weren’t going to get a pair anyways. Have you seen the leaked mechanics for the drop?
But in true Nike fashion, Jordan Brand is not going to leave us hanging. A new Air Jordan 1 Mid “Light Smoke Grey” has been unveiled, and it is honestly everything we need. The sneaker comes wrapped in full leather uppers and nylon tongues and grey on white color blocking. The grey on white color blocking is very similar to the #AirDior Jordan 1 – the only piece missing is the Dior Swoosh. But that can be easily rectified if you know a good sneaker customizer.
Other differences include the mid cut and the lack of an icy outsole. But these are minor details that can’t be spotted from afar. In the end, you’ll still get to rock the luxury Italian look.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Light Smoke Grey” will likely retail for US$110 (approx. S$159.02) – due to the Covid-19 pandemic, no release date has been confirmed.
If you had the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Light Smoke Grey” would you add on the #AirDior Swoosh? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
