Accurate recreation: Nike brings back the Air Joran 4 Lightning from 2006, recreating its vibrant combination of yellow nubuck, black accents set atop a white and grey midsole.
The OG sneaker received a limited online release in 2006, a time when Jordan Brand was beginning to embrace e-commerce. Its unconventional drop, bold colorway and small release made it a grail for many.
No longer limited: The Air Jordan 4 Lightning leaks suggest that the once rare sneaker will this time be produced in larger quantities, making them much more attainable.

Final note: At the moment, we’re reserving our judgement till we see the sneaker in real life. Yellow colorways are incredibly risky and dependent on the hue selected and the choice of materials used on the upper. Till we see the sneaker in hand, it will be hard to say if this is worth the pick-up.
