This S$4,200 Air Max 1 from 2006 is making a comeback!

The Air Max 1 “Lemonade” first dropped as part of the Powerwall collection in 2006.

Update: April 13, 3:45 pm (Singapore time)

News has surfaced that the Air Max 1 “Lemonade” will return in refreshing “Pink Lemonade” and “Pine Green” colorways. The new colorways will sport full pink and green uppers respectively with jacquard “Air” text on the midfoot and heel. Check out the mockups below.

The Air Max 1 quickly became a popular piece of the collection, racking up a value of US$3,000 (approx. S$4,200) over the last 14 years.

Just like the Air Max 2090, the Air Max 1 “Lemonade” was part of a pack that celebrated the long and rich history of Nike’s legendary Air Max line. Back in 2006, Nike dropped the Powerwall collection, which saw the release of 56 retro and modern Air Max sneakers – one of  them the Air Max 1 “Lemonade”.  The sneakers dropped in various quantities, some as GRs and others so exclusive only 200 pairs were ever made. Now, it looks like Nike might be bringing back one of these grails in 2020.

Leaker @py_rates_ revealed that the Air Max 1 “Lemonade” is set to be released in Summer 2020. No early images have surfaced, but it’s expected to return in a similar yellow colorway with the signature “Air” text layered across the upper. The Air Max 1 “Lemonade” may quickly become a must cop sneaker in 2020.
