Air Max 1 OG Big Bubble returns after three decades

The OG Air Max 1 Big Bubble is rumored to return in 2023. Here’s everything we know about the release.

First released in 1986, the Air Max 1 OG Big Bubble has been rumored to make its comeback in 2023. It will supposedly make its comeback with near-accurate proportions, materials and construction of the original sneaker.

The Air Max 1 will return as Tinker Hatfield had envisioned them all those decades ago. It will arrive in the OG colorway, which includes the white mesh toebox, red and grey overlays and not forgetting the iconic red Swoosh. This is the first time Nike is going back to the OG construction of the Air Max 1.

Recent hype releases have pulled the Air Max 1 back into the sneaker discussion. The Air Max 1 has always been a staple sneaker for the Swoosh. However, recent collaborations like the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 and Clot x Nike Air Max 1s have earned the silhouette some renewed interest. With so much attention on the Air Max 1, we can anticipate these to fly off the SNKRS app when they drop.
