This week, Yoon Ahn finally delivers the all-pink colorway of the Ambush x Nike Dunk dubbed Cosmic Fuchsia. All panels on the chunky Dunk Hi will arrive in shades of light and dark pink, creating a layered monotone look. It’s the second colorway to drop after the debut black and white colorway dropped in December 2020.
Motorcycle culture meets basketball: Ambush looked towards Japan’s motorcycle culture for inspiration when redesigning the Dunk Hi. Yoon altered the proportions of the Dunk, giving it a chunkier, boot-like silhouette—an ode to the boots used by motorcycle enthusiasts.
Ambush sticks to their minimalist design sensibilities, applying their logo to the heel cap and insole, letting the eye-catching colorway and silhouette speak for itself.
Final note: If pink is your color then this is a must cop. The triple pink colorway is sure to turn more than a few heads.
