YouTube channel TomoNews released the video to commemorate the fictitious 2017 NBA finals.
Titled “NBA Finals 2017: Curry’s Warriors and LeBron’s Cavs are back yet again for the Finals”, the video is a fictitious depiction of the (yet to take place) 2017 NBA playoff finals, in which the Cleveland Cavaliers goes head to head with the Golden State Warriors.
At the start of the video, Curry has the upper hand when going against LeBron, giving the Golden State Warriors the lead. Eventually, though, it’s the Cleveland Cavaliers that emerge the winners.
Athlete Kevin Durant also makes a cameo in the video.
Strange as the animated video is, it covers a number of different NBA-related news such as Durant’s addition to the Golden State Warriors in 2016.
For those who missed out on the NBA match last night, the competition did not go down the as depicted in TomoNews’ video. The Golden State Warriors, won the match by 22 points.
TomoNews on YouTube is popular for animating the news – an interesting source of alternative news.
