Over a thousand teams, each consisting of four runners, made their way to the Singapore Sports Hub to take part in the inaugural ASICS City Relay, Singapore’s first relay-only night marathon event.
Adding energy to the event were the fireworks from the National Day Parade rehearsal, as well as the stunning views of Marina South and the various acts along the route. Relay changeovers happened inside the Sports Hub, with two giant screen broadcasting the action “live” for spectators to see.
Zouk’s resident DJs Matthew and Zushan were also on hand, spinning hit after hit to liven up the evening and to make each runner’s 10.5km run an achievement not to be forgotten.
