Based on the Kiss Of Death, Clot’s Solar Red Nike Air Max 1 KOD puts a new spin on the recently revived silhouette.
Early images on the Clot Instagram revealed a white, red and grey colorway. This is seen in a post with a cutout Swoosh over the lateral panels and a cursive Clot insignia.
The toe box now comes with a wide mesh which offers a similar look to the transparent panel that it replaces.
The translucent outsole makes its return, giving wearers a peek at a new Chinese foot reflexology map that’s printed onto the midsole.
The upper of the Solar Red KOD Air Max 1 comes with the same thin construction as prior releases. The absence of heavy padding around the upper fulfills Edison Chen’s vision to enable sneakerheads to rock them like sandals or clogs.
