Riot ensues at ComplexCon as sneakerheads clamored for the exclusive Diamond Supply Co. SB Dunks

A ComplexCon riot take place on both days of the sneaker convention as sneakerheads scrambled to get their hands on the ‘Canary’ Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB Dunk.

The sneaker was a ComplexCon exclusive and was only available to purchase at the convention.

Everyone has been buzzing about the latest collaboration between Diamond Supply Co. and Nike SB, which comes years after both brands’ first collaboration – the iconic “Tiffany” SB Dunk released in 2005.

The latest collab pack consists of the Nike SB Dunk Lows in three colorways. The black and white pairs will be available to the general public, while the “Canary” colorway was exclusive to attendees of ComplexCon. Only 250 pairs of the “Canary” were available to purchase at the event.

The limited supply led to Dunkheads to misbehave at ComplexCon, as they scrambled to be the lucky ones to get their hands on the shoes. The sneakers were meant to drop on day one of the convention (November 3), but a riot broke out and the release was pushed to day two of the con. The riot ensued on day two as well, leading the police to escort the sneakers out of the convention center.

There is no information yet whether any of the 250 pairs were sold in the end, but in an Instagram post by Nicky Diamonds, it seems quite a number of pairs of sneakers were being escorted out of the premises. Check out the videos below to see how mad the launch was.

There is no information as to when the “Canary” Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB Dunk will drop again. Stay posted here for updates.
