After a quickstrike of Jordan 13 releases at the end of 2018, Clot looks to keep the ball rolling as they team up with Converse on a two-silhouette capsule. Utilizing the Chuck Taylor and Jack Purcell, the two brands look to the North Pole as inspiration for the collection.
The Hong Kong label adds cozy sherpa lining to both sneakers, in neutral tones to symbolize the snowy plains. The Chuck Taylor is the bolder of the two, with the whole shoe wrapped in a furry textile that’s enhanced by the translucent midsole. The sneaker features two colors, white and muted brown, that is split by a zipper closure on the heel. The Jack Purcell is quieter with sherpa lining found only on the sock liner while off-white suede covers the upper. Both sneakers will feature a gum bottom embellished with a polar bear paw print.
The Converse x Clot sneakers are expected to drop on February 1 on Converse’s website but there is no retail price as of now. Watch this space for updates.
