Inspired by British fashion and weather: As a Brit himself, Kim Jones took inspiration from his home country’s Spring fashion sensibilities and temperamental weather when designing his Chuck 70. The end result is a Chuck that has waterproof capabilities that can handle the season’s weather while looking fresh on the streets of London.

Minimal co-branding: As seen on his Air Max 95, Kim Jones steers away from loud in-your-face branding. His name is subtly embroidered onto the tongue and makes a second appearance on the co-branded insole.
Final note: Jones nailed his collaboration with Converse and, unlike his recent release with Nike, it should fly off shelves. Released as sneakerheads grow more receptive to silhouettes like the Converse Run Star Hike Lugged, the KJ Chuck 70 should be hard to cop especially since it will get a very limited run.
