Casio goes mechanical with the Edifice EFK-100

Casio drops a first-of-its-kind release with mechanical movement and forged carbon style, pushing the Edifice line into new territory.

The motorsport-inspired Edifice EFK-100 just hit Singapore, and it’s a statement piece that blends automotive culture with undeniable craftsmanship. For the first time, Casio introduces both forged carbon and mechanical movement to the Edifice line – two high-performance moves that elevate the brand into a new era.

Mechanical Movement

The EFK-100 series runs on a mechanical movement with a 40-hour power reserve, the kind of craftsmanship usually reserved for higher-end timepieces. Flip it over, and the see-through case back lets you peep the movement in motion – a detail that mirrors the mechanics of car engines and suspension systems. It’s raw, refined, and built for those who appreciate both precision and vibe.

Construction

Forged carbon takes the spotlight here. By fusing carbon fiber with resin, Casio has created cases and dials with a marbled texture that’s completely unique – no two watches are alike. The EFK-100XPB goes all in with forged carbon on the case and dial, while the EFK-100CD keeps it focused on the dial. For a fresh twist, the EFK-100D models use electroforming to replicate the forged carbon look with equal impact.

Design Variations

Minimalist three-hand layouts and date displays keep the focus on texture and depth, giving the forged carbon room to breathe. Streetwear heads will appreciate how the watch balances bold material choices with clean visuals – making it easy to pair with anything from oversized fits to tailored street classics.

How to Cop

The Edifice EFK-100 Singapore release drops August 22. The EFK-100XPB (S$599) is an online exclusive, while the EFK-100CD and EFK-100D (S$379 each) are available online and at G-SHOCK stores in ION Orchard and Takashimaya.
