J Balvin’s collaboration t-shirt with Bape drops globally soon

The J Balvin x Bape apparel collection made its debut last weekend in conjunction with the singer’s Lollapalooza set.

After an exclusive launch at RSVP Gallery, the collection will look towards a global launch soon.

What a weekend it has been for the mega popstar J Balvin. Sporting lime green hair and a cartoon pendant of himself around his neck, the reggaeton singer delivered an entertaining set bursting with energy at Lollapalooza – while also making history as the first Latino headlining act at the music festival. But in the world of streetwear, all eyes were fixed on the t-shirt he had on – a special collaboration with Japanese streetwear label, Bape.

The particular J Balvin x Bape t-shirt, which features a cartoon character in his likeness standing beside Baby Milo, is apparently reserved for the singer’s crew and not for sale. But another exclusive white t-shirt design did drop at RSVP Gallery on August 3, with a special appearance from the Colombian superstar himself. The J Balvin x Bape collaboration t-shirt features Bape’s iconic ape head in an array of bright colors instead of the traditional green camo. J Balvin’s name appears below it in  colorful bubble letters. While no wider release date has been announced, according to J Balvin’s Instagram, a global drop will follow soon. Check back for more updates to come.
