The Jay-Z Kanye West Feud Has Got to do with Beyonce

The Jay-Z Kanye West feud has reached new heights.

Jay-Z talks about his strained relationship with Kanye West in a Rap Radar podcast

The Jay-Z Kanye West feud reached a fever pitch when West brought up Beyonce during a rant at one of his performances.

During a recent Rap Radar podcast, Jay-Z opened up about his tumultuous relationship with his former collaborator and friend, Kanye West.

In the hour-long podcast, Jay-Z admitted that although he and West would “routinely argue” over creative differences, they still respected each other. However, Jay-Z felt West crossed the line when he brought up his wife, Beyoncé, during his infamous 2016 rant (watch below).

While performing at Sacramento on his Saint Pablo tour, West told the crowd: “Beyoncé, I was hurt because I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me…at the VMAs”.

West also blasted Jay-Z during his rant: “I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head. Please call me. Talk to me like a man.”

Jay-Z shot back during the podcast by saying: “We’ve gotten past bigger issues, but you brought my family into it. Now that’s a problem with me. That’s a real, real problem. He knows it’s a problem ’cause me and him would have talked about it.”

“We would have resolved our issues, but he knows he crossed the line. I know him. he knows. He knows … I know he knows because we’ve never let this much space go between one of our disagreements and we’ve had many,” the 4:44 rapper added.

However, despite their difference, it seems Jay-Z is willing to forgive West and move on.

“That’s what I liked about him. He’s an honest person. He’s open and he’ll just say things, and he’s wrong a lot of times, but we’ll confront it.”

What do you think? Is this the end of the Jay-Z x Kanye West feud or will we see more clashes between the two in the future?
