News of the collab was first teased in August 2017, after the “Humble” rapper sent out a tweet that read, “Cortez. Since day one”.
Featuring a red and black color scheme, Lamar’s Cortez sneaker comes with a red nylon and suede upper, along with black accents on the Swoosh logo and heel. Other details include white stitching, the word “DAMN” on the tongue, as well as the rapper’s initials on the heel.
The sneaker will also come with the classic Cortez jagged rubber sole and metallic lace locks with the letters “TDE” on them. They are a reference to his indie record label, Top Dawg Entertainment.
No other details are available at the moment, but it’s safe to say the sneakers will be highly sought after by both Nike sneakerheads and Lamar fans.
Stay tuned to Straatosphere for future updates.
