The sneakers will be released under Big Baller Brand, the company that Ball founded.
“Make sure you save your money because they’re gonna be $1,500 or more,” said Ball in the video above. “Cause I’m gonna design them and they’re gonna be fly. My bad—they’re gonna be baller-ized.”
Shoes that have been released under the Big Baller Brand include the Melo Ball 1 and ZO2. Inspired by his two sons, LaMelo and Lonzo, they retail at US$395 (approx. S$531) and US$495 (approx. S$665) respectively.
If Ball’s claims are true, his signature kicks will cost three times more than any Big Baller Brand sneakers released so far.
