Typically, these local convenience stores supply all manner of basic needs such as bread, eggs, fruits, and sundries. Locals will also identify these stores a happy places where, as kids, they would frequent for candy and ice-cream.
The LE Convenience taps into the sentiments of nostalgia towards these local minimarts, to create a one-stop shop at Street Superior to provide all sneaker needs. Like local mini marts, LE Convenience represents Limited Edt’s status as the premier, go-to store for all lifestyle sneakers, apparel and accessories.
If the above are not convincing enough reasons to check out LE’s booth, surely the below five will be the push factor you need.
1. Unique shopping experience
How often have you come across a convenience store packed with sneakers? The concept is truly a unique one and a first in the history of Street Superior (or Sole Superior, for that matter). At the LE Convenience, you’ll find yourself balloting for sneakers at 4D*-like counters, shopping sneakers from fridges, and picking out kicks from vegetable baskets.
*Stands for “4-digits”, a local lottery game.
2. Ballot Frenzy!
This year, LE will be releasing a slew of hyped releases in two ways: ballot and via the Frenzy app (a location-based app that allows you to purchase sneakers).
Sneakers for ballot at the LE Convenience: Adidas Hu x Pharrell Williams X Billionaire Boys Club collection and Adidas Boost Yeezy 700 “Mauve”.
Sneakers available via Frenzy app: Adidas x Dragon Ball Z Prophere and Deerupt Runner and Adidas x Bathing Ape 3ST.002.

3. Spend and win
Every purchase at the LE Convenience entitles you to a Scratch & Win card (while stocks last) which gives you the chance to win more sneakers! Prizes include the Converse x Off-White, Vans Era FOG and Nike ACRNYM Prestos, just to name a few.
4. Display and sale of SB Dunks and LE collabs
What might be the dopest feature of the whole booth is LE’s display archive of collabs and some of the rarest Nike SBs. In keeping with theme, you’ll find these at the refrigerated section of the LE Convenience. Some are for sale and others are for your eyes only.
5. Extra, extra!
Be sure to pick up one of these Limited Edt edition Straatosphere tabloids at the LE Convenience. The issue is a lowdown on what to expect from the LE Convenience and it also comes with S$200 worth of vouchers. Limited copies will be given out over the two days, so be sure to get yours!
LE Convenience is conceptualized and produced by Straatosphere for Limited Edt. The pop-up will be open at Street Superior 2018 (October 27 to 28) from 12 noon to 10pm on both days. Street Superior is held at Pasir Panjang ‘A’ Power Station, 27 Pasir Panjang Road. Get your tickets here.
