Levi’s and Beams drop a literal Super Wide collection

Levi’s partners with Beams for the third time to release a Super Wide collection, which drops in Singapore on January 6.

Levi’s and Beams are back for the third time to release the Super Wide collection in Singapore for Spring/Summer 2022. The duo has released two other collections prior – “The Inside Out” collection in 2019 and “Half & Half” collection in 2020. Their collections reimagine classic American silhouettes through a Japanese lens, fusing eastern and western street style sensibilities.

Every piece within the Super Wide collection is a twist on classic Levi’s silhouettes like the classic Type 1 Trucker, Button-Fly Straight Leg and Pocket Tee. In this collection, each piece is stretched out to give a baggier look and feel, which explains the name of the collection.

Even the details and accents are super wide. The pockets, button fly, back patch and graphic prints have all been enlarged to fit the theme of the collection.

Beams branding is minimal, appearing only on the back patches. They retain the classic Two Horse pull in Levi’s red print but at the corner of the patch, is a small Beams logo in orange.

Playing into the neo-vintage trend, the majority of the collection will come with a faded wash version. However, the dark indigo rinse of the Trucker and jeans will only be available through Beams.

The Levi’s and Beams Super Wide collection drops in Singapore on January 6. For more information, head to Levi’s website or find out more on their Instagram, @levis_singapore
