Luxury Pokemon Watch Goes on Sale for US$250,000

The Tourbillon Pokemon watch by Swiss luxury watchmaker RJ-Romain Jerome honors 20 years of Pokemon.

Priced at US$250,000 (approx. S$346,773), this unique and limited edition timepiece has been described as the “emblem of the millennials”.

The main feature of the watch is a tourbillon bridge that’s modeled after Pikachu’s iconic lightning bolt. It also features an oscillating weight shaped after the electric mouse.

The strap even has blue and yellow stitches to represent The Pokémon Company’s symbolic colors.

If the hefty price tag is waning your interest, perhaps you could consider the RJ x Pokémon watch instead. At a more “affordable” price of US$20,000 (approx. S$27,742), it features a hand-painted Pikachu centerpiece, and is limited to just 20 pieces.
