English football club Manchester City 2017/18 home kit takes cues from the club’s kit worn in the late 1960s.

According to football website City Watch, the new home kit is inspired by a strip worn by Joe Mercer in 1967 to 1968 (the year the football club was crowned champions of England).

As a result, the football club’s new home kit now comes with a light blue round neck shirt and white shorts.

Nike swoosh branding can be seen on the shorts while the trademark logo of the club’s sponsor, Etihad Airways, is emblazoned across the shirt.

The jerseys can be pre-ordered online. Prices range from US$45 (approx. S$62) for an infant sized kit to US$140.95 (approx. S$195) for a men’s jersey top. Shorts are sold separately.
