On October 11th, Day 3 of Fashion Week 2013, MCM presented a collection titled Flower Boys in Paradise, an energetic and punchy take on florals and pastels. While the duster coats and motorcycle jackets were indeed lust-worthy, the true objects of desire were the accessories – backpacks, clutches, carryalls, envelopes – embellished with crystals and studs. Footwear rarely goes unnoticed here at Straatosphere and MCM’s leather high-tops and slip-ons incorporating the collection’s signature floral motifs definitely caught our eye. We also predict the pullover featuring the MCM logo will be a big hit of the season.
