Tribute to heritage: The 237 directly references New Balance silhouettes of old, borrowing elements from runners released in the ‘70s. This includes an outsole taken from the Comp 100 and an upper that sports the classic suede and nylon combination.
In order to modernize the silhouette, New Balance has given the sneaker chunkier portions, including a thicker and wider midsole. This same approach was used to create the New Balance 327.
Vibrant yet wearable: The New Balance 237 will arrive in “Captain Blue” and “Vibrant Red” colorways. Though both are bold colorways, their retro styling makes them easy to pair with outfits.
