Nike ropes in another key player in the streetwear industry to bring forth a court-ready basketball sneaker unlike any other. The founder of Fear of God, Jerry Lorenzo, takes it to another level by creating an entirely new shoe – the Nike Air Fear of God 1 – that’s uncompromising in design and style.
“There are people outside of sport who go about their lives through the spirit of sport,” said Lorenzo. “It is a shoe that should only be judged by the emotion it gives the kid when he first sees it — however it makes him feel,” he added.
Jerry Lorenzo imparts the premium look and feel FOG is known for into this sleek basketball shoe that could very well double up as a sneaker boot. The Nike Air Fear of God 1 boasts minimal details with only a miniature Swoosh seen on the lateral side of the shoe and earthy color schemes. The build quality and innovation, as you can expect, is exceptional. The lightweight TPU cage provides comfort and support and also houses the unique thick rope lacing system. Add to that, the visible Nike Air window features a revolutionary double stack Zoom heel supplemented by a full-length Zoom.
The Nike Air Fear of God 1 sneaker will make its debut worldwide in two iterations on December 15. One is a performance version (S$499) while the other is a lifestyle version (S$429). You can expect the sneaker to be available at Dover Street Market Singapore as well.
