The Nike React ISPA is the latest silhouette from the Swoosh.

If you’re looking for a practical shoe for everyday wear, this one ticks all the boxes.

The Nike React ISPA – officially known as the Nike REACT LW WR Mid ISPA – will launch soon in Singapore on November 21. But do we really need another React sneaker? First of all, it’s no secret that Nike’s React silhouettes have been rather popular as of late, not least the React Element 87. This time, however, the Swoosh introduces the new React silhouette with upgrades that renders it the perfect sneaker to travel the distance with and to weather storms.

The shoe is made with the urban commuter in mind, and is specifically targeted at those who walk an estimated eight kilometers a day. Here’s what we know about the Nike React ISPA.

The sneaker’s futuristic space boot aesthetic pleases the eye, but with Nike, there’s almost always more that meets the eye. The first creation under ISPA, which stands for Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt (a program led by Nike sportswear’s special projects team), the design and development of the Nike React ISPA is all about function.

The high-top footwear is a combination of Nike’s latest innovation, utilizing the React cushioning along with the functional waterproof materials often seen in Nike’s ACG line. Besides ensuring a comfortable ride on your trips to and from work, you’ll never arrive anywhere with soaking wet shoes whatever the weather.

The Nike React ISPA will come in striking colorways, just like the popular Nike React Element 87. Thinking of copping? Save the date. The sneaker will launch at Dover Street Market Singapore on November 21. It retails at S$289 a pair.

Which colorway would you cop? Let us know in the comments below.
