Nike has been dropping new colorways of the Air Max React 270 from July 5, including the much anticipated Bauhaus. The futuristic Hyper Jade is set to drop on July 19.
The new colorway is dressed in a Hyper Jade upper with frosted spruce and subtle Volt accents, and a jade-tinted React and clear Air Max 270 midsole – features borrowed from the Air Max 270 and Nike React Element 55.
Its outsole pattern is split similarly in half, with the forefoot bearing the Element 55 signature pattern – which focuses on reinforcing areas that wear out the quickest – while the heel mirrors the Air Max 270’s signature U-shaped heel.
The midsole brings the comfort and responsiveness of the React Element 55 in the forefoot while providing the impact cushioning and bounce of the Air Max 270 to the heel. A true hybrid, this silhouette is slated to be one of the most comfortable sneakers from Nike in 2019.
The Air Max React 270 follows in the footsteps of other hybrids like the Air Max 97 Plus, merging Air Max and React technology into a single, hybrid silhouette.
Local release details aren’t available at the moment but look out for the colorway at Nike.com.
