Footwear drops: Eric Koston’s Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low UNC debuts soon

Get ready for more “au-some” August sneakers coming our way this week.

But no lineup can top the cleanest sneaker launching soon: the Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low UNC.

We’re back with another roundup of the hottest sneakers launching this week following August’s impressive opening releases. The lineup is nothing short of exciting, starting with Nike unleashing the Air Jordan 3 Tinker Black Cement on the newly launched SNKRS feature in Singapore. Also on the schedule is Adidas’ new colorways for its latest chunky silhouette – the Ozweego. For our female sneakerheads, don’t fret. There’s something good for the ladies too as Nike gears up to drop an inside-out version of the Air Force 1 Low all draped in black and tan finishing. And last but not least, we’ll finally see the release of the highly anticipated Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low UNC. Let’s get to the best part real quick, and find out how you can cop below.

Air Jordan 3 Tinker Black Cement
August 7

Nike and Jordan Brand first introduced this iteration of the Air Jordan 3 to honor the original designer, Tinker Hatfield, on the silhouette’s 30th anniversary in 2018. This year, the sneaker will arrive in a fresh Black Cement colorway, combining all that is desirable about the Air Jordan 3 – a clean overall look, the iconic elephant print, Nike Air branding on the heel, and of course, the Nike swoosh. At a price point of S$299, you know you’re getting a premium sneaker packed with luxe leather and suede materials, as well as gold accents on the top lace loop, insoles and Tinker Hatfield’s signature on the back of the tongue.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Inside Out
August 9

Nike goes beyond the norm once again with its “Inside Out” series of releases, this time on the Air Force 1 Low. But the brand isn’t merely inverting the classic sneaker for a deconstructed look. Instead, the sneaker will also feature premium leather and suede materials on the uppers in addition to the inverted look. Here’s your chance to stand out from the crowd and cop a truly unique rendition of the Air Force 1 Low. This women’s exclusive pair will retail at S$143.

Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low UNC
August 10

Pro skateboarder Eric Koston has another Air Jordan 1 Low collaboration lined up as both Jordan Brand and Nike SB continue its stellar partnership. Taking on the low-top version once again, Eric Koston gives this one a signature University of North Carolina (Michael Jordan’s alma mater) spin with the cornflower blue overlays and swoosh on the optic white base. The iconic Air Jordan 1 has no shortage of fans, and skateboarders are part of that enormous circle. Cutting it down to the lows isn’t going to make it less desirable either. Retailing at just S$179, it’s a complete steal for a pair this clean. Unless you’d like to drop at least US$909 (approx. S$1,255) for the Off White x Air Jordan 1 UNC, this is the closest you can get to this colorway.
