Nike and Fear Of God arguably had one of the most hyped collaborations of the year. So far, it has released three sneakers silhouettes, all within this month – the Air Fear of God 1 (December 15), the Shoot Around (about a week later) and the Skylon II (yesterday). Now, leaks of a fourth silhouette, the Moccasin, have surfaced online.
The Nike x Fear Of God Moccasin boasts a slimmer silhouette in a mid-cut shape. The most prominent detail on the shoe is the strap that runs across the forefoot, replacing a traditional lacing system to lock the foot down. Button closure on the lateral side and a draw-string on the heel serve as other ways to tighten up the shoe. Nike and Fear Of God keep the Moccasin consistent with their previous releases as the sneaker features the same double stacked Zoom sole with an exposed air unit. Nike x Fear Of God branding can be found on the lateral side, next to the exposed air unit. Coming in a beige colorway, the Moccasin is consistent with the other shoes from the collaboration in terms of color palette.
There is no confirmed release date yet, however, you can expect this to drop sometime in January 2019. Rumored to retail at US$170 (approx. S$233), there is no news on a local release yet either. Watch this space for updates.
