Other details include pull tabs on the front and back of the model, a white rubber toe cap and a heel cap. The words “Nike Free” can be seen etched on the sides of the sneakers and “Gyakusou” on its heels.
Taking cue from socks, the Nike Free Sock runner will come in a high-top silhouette along with a white collar.
The sneakers will be released as part of the Nike x Undercover Gyakusou running collection. According to Sneaker Bar Detroit, the Nike Free Sock Runner is the first pair leaked from the forthcoming collection.
The new silhouette has received some harsh criticism by Instagram users. Some have gone as far as to dub it the “poor man’s Ultraboost” (see a comment thread below).
