Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals NMD “Hu”

The Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals NMD “Hu” sneakers celebrate the spirit of equality, acceptance, co-existence and understanding in the human race.

A follow-up to the yellow NMD that was released in July, the Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals NMD “Hu” now comes in five striking colors.

Arriving in scarlet, black, sharp blue, green and tangerine, the sneakers feature slogans such as “Hu Race”, “Human Species” and “Hue Man” boldly stitched on the Primeknit uppers. Trefoil branding subtly makes its way to the heel of the sneakers, helping them retain that minimalist look and feel.

An energy-returning Boost midsole takes care of cushioning, while laces are woven through the stabilizer of the shoe’s cage. The shoe also contains an internal toe cap for a unique shape, along with a new modernized curved collar.

“Hu is short for human — human being, human race, humankind,” said Pharrell. “But Hu, itself is also a reference to color. As human beings, we all have a color. We all look different, we all speak different languages, but we’re all connected.”

Priced at S$299 a pair, the Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals NMD “Hu” sneakers will be available at the adidas Originals store (Pacific Plaza) and Limited Edt Vault on September 29^th.
