Which brand has the most fabulous “Pride” collection? We find out.
Can’t decide which brand’s “Pride” collection to cop? Here’s a list to help you make your choice.
Converse dropped its “Pride” collection last week, and it comprises several limited-edition Chuck Taylor All Star models.
Available in high and low top versions, customers can even customize their sneakers under the Custom Converse option.
The collection is also priced quite affordably, from US$65 to US$110 (approx. S$89 to $152), depending on the model and design of the shoes.
Nike’s stake in Pride month comes in the form of the 2017 “BETRUE” collection. It includes the first-ever rainbow-soled Air VaporMax, a rainbow Swoosh Flyknit Racer, the Nike Classic Cortez, and the Air Zoom Pegasus 34.
Judging by the comments on the internet, it looks like sneakerheads are most excited for the Air VaporMax and Flyknit Racer. They are priced at US$200 and US$160 (approx. S$276 and $221), respectively. On the other hand, the Air Zoom Pegasus is going for US$120 (approx S$166), while the Nike Cortez is going at US$90 (approx S$124).
Last to drop is Adidas, but thankfully its “Pride” collection doesn’t disappoint. Similar to Nike, the collection also features four exclusive sneakers: The Ultra Boost 3.0, Superstar, EQT Support ADV, and Crazy Explosive Low.
The star of the collection, The Ultra Boost 3.0, features a black Primeknit upper and white Boost midsole. Rainbow colors decorate its heel counter, extending to the bottom portion of the cage.
Other than the Ultra Boost, the Adidas Superstar might also catch the attention of sneakerheads. One of the brand’s best-sellers, the shoe features a white leather front half and a black leather back. In addition, rainbow polka dots run along the length of shoes, giving it a bold and loud finish.
So, which shoe of the three Pride collections will you cop? Let us know in the comments below.
