Converse Celebrates Diversity with the “Pride” Collection

Converse introduces the 2017 “Pride” collection in celebration of diversity.

Sneaker retailer Limited Edt has announced that it will be carrying the 2017 Converse “Pride” collection.

Prices are as follows:
1. Chuck Taylor All Star Ox – S$99
2. Chuck Taylor All Star Hi White – S$109
3. Chuck Taylor All Star Hi Multicolor – S$119
4. Chuck Taylor All Star 70s High – S$149

The sneakers are now available for purchase from Limited Edt Vault and L.E. Way (313@Somerset, Orchard Rd). Only men’s sizes 4-10 (US) are available for purchase.

The 2017 Converse “Pride” collection comprises an array of limited edition Chuck Taylor All Star models.

The sneakers in the collection, available in both high and low top versions, sport rainbow-colored uppers, outsoles, laces, and 70s-inspired patches.

The Custom Converse option is available to the “Pride” collection for further customization.

In addition to footwear, t-shirts, socks, and shoelaces are also part of the collection.

“Through this collection, Converse says, ‘Yes to all!’ standing with the belief that whatever your gender, sexual orientation, or identity, everyone is free to be who they are,” said a brand representative in a statement.

All proceeds from the collection will go to It Gets Better Project and The Happy Hippie Foundation. These two organizations help support and empower LGBTQ youths from around the world.
