Gamers in San Francisco came out in full force over the weekend to celebrate the opening of the RazerStore, the latest venture by the company that’s reportedly worth US$1.5 billion.

A crowd formed outside the Westfield mall in downtown San Francisco, but people weren’t there to queue for sneakers or to visit Apple’s new store, which coincidentally held its grand opening on the same day. Rather, they were there to witness the launch of Razer’s first concept store in USA.

Known as the RazerStore, the 1,300 square feet space spreads over two floors and carries a comprehensive lineup of gaming peripherals that Razer is known for.

Over 20 gaming stations with the latest Razer hardware are available for use. Gaming enthusiasts can also check out the large streaming video wall that will display live gameplay and other content.

Razer products can be purchased at the store, but the focus leans toward offering a gaming experience for those who might be unfamiliar with the brand.

This is the fourth RazerStore in the world, with the other three located in Bangkok, Taipei and Manila.
