Uniqlo joins forces with Girls Don’t Cry creator Verdy for UT collection

The “Rise Again by Verdy” collection is a result of the Girls Don’t Cry brand creator collaborating with Uniqlo UT.

The positivity-filled “Rise Again by Verdy” collection caters exclusively to women and children and features long dresses and oversized tees.

Uniqlo has been making waves with their recent collaborations with the likes of Kaws and Star Wars, and they are riding that wave by teaming up with Verdy – a graphic designer from VK Design Works notably known for his brand Girls Don’t Cry that’s fresh off a collaboration with Nigo’s Human Made.

Titled “Rise Again by Verdy”, the collection for women and children is built around positive messaging. Quotes like “Break The Mold”, “Live Fast, Live Long” and “I’m The Luckiest” are featured on t-shirts and dresses in this collection. In fact, this is Verdy’s way of conveying “the spirit of aiming and rising higher even when the world changes”. Fans of the artist would also notice that the collection features his signature mascot and typefaces.
