Jeff Staple and SBTG link up for super limited run of custom Air Force 1s

Pigeon meets tiger camo in this SBTG x Staple Air Force 1 collaboration recently unveiled on social media.

After several teasers, Jeff Staple has finally let the “Pigeon Fury” out of the cage.

Sneakerheads were on high alert this morning after Jeff Staple gave a full rundown on his collaboration with SBTG. Both stalwarts in the sneaker business, Singapore-based sneaker customizer Mark Ong of SBTG and Jeff Staple have each produced some of the most covetable footwear collaborations in sneaker history. This time, they’ve come together for a super limited run of custom Air Force 1s – handmade by SBTG himself. According to Jeff Staple, only 30 pairs of the custom SBTG x Staple Air Force 1 sneaker will be available worldwide. Get a closer look at the official images below.

The signature pigeon colorway comes into play here with shades of grey and pink accents running along the canvas and suede upper. Taking on an already iconic silhouette – the AF1 – it’s the details on this collaboration that matter the most. And it can’t get any better than having both brands’ imprints on these expressed with a debossed pigeon logo and intricate tiger camo embroidered on the Swoosh. But the co-branding doesn’t stop there: the Staple and SBTG amalgamated logo that appears on the leather tongue tab and heel is both seamless and genius.

Marvel at the collaboration all you want, because these handmade SBTG x Staple Air Force 1 will not be easy to cop. Given that only 30 pairs are up for grabs, the brands aren’t putting a price on the shoe, leaving it to the public to decide how much to pay via an online raffle. That sneakerheads are more than ready to splash cash on virtually unattainable kicks, we won’t be surprised to see these go for thousands of dollars.

If you want a crack at it, purchase an SBTG x Staple t-shirt on staplepigeon.com to enter the raffle on the Staple Pigeon website when it opens for only 24 hours on November 20 at 1pm EST (+13 hours for SG Time).
