According to Vogue, the partnership involves Selena being both an ambassador and a collaborator. Following the Phenom launch, she will be involved in product design and overseeing the direction of future campaigns.
E Online reports Selena will bank over US$30 million from the PUMA deal, expected to last about two years.
Selena’s boyfriend, The Weeknd, also a PUMA ambassador who recently dropped his own sneaker called the PUMA Parallels, probably had a hand in getting the “Fetish” singer acquainted with the brand.
Aside from The Weeknd, Selena joins PUMA’s stable of high profile celebrity ambassadors including Big Sean, Cara Delevingne, Kylie Jenner, and Rihanna.
