Skate on snake: Soulland delivers a Nike SB Blazer Mid collab featuring snakeskin uppers

The skate link up continues with this upcoming Soulland x Nike SB Blazer Mid collaboration.

The third installment of Soulland and Nike SB’s FRI.Day collection will launch this Friday, November 22.

It’s been two years since the last collaboration between Soulland and Nike’s skate outfit. This year, the FRI.Day series will jump back onto the radar of SB heads with this exotic Soulland x Nike SB Blazer Mid. The cities of Copenhagen and Los Angeles may have served as inspiration for parts one and two of the collaboration respectively, but the upcoming launch is influenced by Tokyo’s vibrant sneaker culture.

Where extreme sports meet extreme kicks, the Soulland x Nike SB Blazer Mid couldn’t have presented a better iteration. All the extreme details lie in the uppers. with a gnarly faux snakeskin in tanned hues making up a large portion of the sneaker.

Keeping it clean, the collaboration dials down on the outlook with light tones for the finer elements like the fuzzy Swoosh on the back, the Jewel Swoosh on the sides and the soles, among others. The FRI.Day series is also represented on the sneaker’s tumbled leather heels along with a marking in red on the outsoles. A further dash of red also appears on the tongue tab – a vibrant touch to wrap up this wild revamp of the classic skate shoe.

If you’re already warming up to the Soulland x Nike SB Blazer Mid, you might have to hit up your friends overseas, as these will only be available exclusively in Japan at Mortar Tokyo and at select retailers in Europe.
