Singapore has made a name for itself as a key shopping destination over the years and that trajectory doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. With the arrival of retailers like Dover Street Market and Off White onto our shores, there is so much to expect when shopping in this tiny red dot.

To help you navigate the streetwear and fashion shopping scene that Singapore has to offer, we have compiled some of our favorite stores to cop the latest kicks and threads. Let them know we sent you when you visit.

High-end Fashion

1) Dover Street Market Singapore

Dover Street Market is a multi-brand retailer from Comme des Garçons’ Rei Kawakubo and Adrian Joffe that offers some of the world’s most sought-after high-end brands such as Balenciaga, Alyx Studios and Gucci. What makes DSM special is its industrial-inspired architecture and the fact that it also carries affordable brands like Braindead and Carhartt.

2) Manifesto

Manifesto is another multi-brand store that offers contemporary brands like Lemaire, Maison Kitsuné and APC. The store also serves as an art gallery where merchandise is showcased like pieces of art. This provides an enhanced shopping experience like none other.

3) Comme des Garçons
581 Orchard Rd, #02-39/40 Hilton Hotel, Singapore 238883

Comme des Garçons has opened its largest Singapore boutique at the Hilton Hotel, and there you’ll find all of Rei Kawakubo’s latest creations. Whether you are looking for avant-garde runway pieces or simple everyday tees, the store has it all – carrying pieces from CDG, Comme des Garçons by Comme des Garçons, CDG Black, CDG Play and more. Head over to the beautifully designed store to check out their noteworthy installations and boundary-pushing ready-to-wear collections.

Mid-end/Streetwear

1) Stussy Singapore

Stussy’s designs reference a range of subcultures making it a mainstay of creative youths whose passions range from music, skating and surf culture. Quirky aesthetics and grungy attitudes are at the core of Stussy’s designs with guerilla vibes dialled on high. Stussy first opened its doors in Singapore in 313 Somerset before moving to Cineleisure and closing down in 2021. The Stussy Singapore Chapter now located at Scotts Square #01-01.

2) OCD Store
6 Scotts Rd, #01-04/05, Singapore 228209

OCD offers a tasteful selection of edgy brands that include M+RC NOIR, Represent, and GCDS. If you’re after a grungier streetwear aesthetic, this is the place for you.

3) Goodluck Bunch
26 Bali Ln, Singapore 189862

Goodluck Bunch carries an array of eclectic brands like Ripndip, Parra, and Carrots by Anwar Carrots. Upon reaching the store, it might seem like that there isn’t much to see but head up their tiny steps and you’ll be greeted by a lot more brands. They also stock some good basics from Champion and Gramicci.

4) Yield SG
313 Orchard Rd, #04-12, 313@Somerset 238895

Yield SG is spearheading the movement #forlocalsbylocals as they introduce homegrown brands such as Allout, and Tusk & Crescent. Other than local brands, they offer a neat selection of goods from overseas such as Guess Green Label and the upcoming Japanese brand, Phingerin.

5) The Corner Shop (Zha Huo Dian)
14 Scotts Rd, Singapore 228213

At first glance, you might be fooled by The Corner Shop’s provision store-styled interior. However, upon closer inspection, you’ll notice that the store boasts some of the biggest streetwear brands such as Chinatown Market, Pleasures, and Wacko Maria. Also, they carry a small collection of tailored goods if you are looking for something a little more formal-looking.

6) Actually Store

Actually is the perfect store for someone who is looking for something fun and quirky. Find bright and colorful outfits and accessories from brands like Lazy Oaf, Ellesse, and Freitag there. Also, they are one of the few stores in Singapore that carry Dr. Denim.

7) Sects Shop
277 Orchard Road, Orchard Gateway #04-14, Singapore 238858

Sects Shop caters to those interested in adding more monochromatic black and white pieces in their wardrobe. The store carries a wide range of products from White Mountaineering, Facetasm, Julius Nilos and many others that complement the store’s darker aesthetics. They carry Rick Owens Drkshdw in their store as well.

8) Aape by Bathing Ape

AAPE BY *A BATHING APE (AAPE for short), a more accessible line of the cult streetwear label A BATHING APE®, is launching a new store in Singapore. Its original creator, Nigo, drew inspiration from ‘90s aesthetics with the use of bold prints, colors, and choice of silhouettes. The iconic Moonface logo is used liberally on AAPE pieces, so you can definitely expect some statement-worthy gear at a reasonable price. If you’re into striking camouflage prints, loose-fitting styles and relaxed streetwear, head over to AAPE.

9) Carhartt WIP

Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, the Carhartt WIP collections are based on the original Carhartt workwear, while also inspired by the subcultures that have embraced it. Lasting stylish workwear and daily essentials are the bread and butter of this iconic brand so expect quality in every item. What’s more, Carhartt WIP collections have been known to collaborate with many influential brands such as Neighbourhood, A.P.C. and more, so you might get to snag them at the store. 10) HEAT

Heat is the latest sneaker and apparel store to pop up on the Orchard road strip. Their range caters to those who want the hottest and freshest apparel, sneakers and accessories. Fully stocked with Supreme, ADLV, FOG, Vlone and more, it would be a challenge to leave without a fire fit.

11) Snkrdunk Singapore

Looking to score some elusive sneakers? An all-new exciting sneaker resale platform makes its way to Singapore with the grand opening of its new physical store. Similar to its operations in Harajuku and Osaka, customers will be able to try on the desired pair before purchasing. An experience that no other resale platform or store offers in Singapore. Opening on October 22, check out the new store at Mandarin Gallery where a special raffle of 100 grail-level shoes will be held.

12) The Denim Store
