Word has it that Tinder has been working on an invite-only version of the app, meant only for the rich and beautiful.
According to TechCrunch, Tinder Select works as a separate layer of the core app that only select users are invited to access. These users can choose to turn it on or off anytime.
While the selection process of Tinder Select is largely unknown, TechCrunch reports that the existing database of users are made up of “CEOs, super models, and other hyper-attractive/upwardly affluent types.”
Design-wise, the exclusive app has its own look, with navy blue accents instead of the orange color scheme that regular users are used to. Though the website is live here, you can’t do much with it unless you’ve been Tinder Select-ed. It’s a cruel dating world out there.
