Tom Hardy Raises Hell in New “Taboo” Miniseries

The rugged Tom Hardy shows off his award-winning acting chops in an original miniseries.

Co-created by Tom Hardy, his father Chips Hardy and Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, Taboo is one helluva dark thriller that will hit TV screens come 2017.

Set in 19th century London, Taboo sees Hardy taking on the role of James Delaney, a disgruntled explorer who’s presumed dead but returns to town to exact revenge.

If the trailer is any indication, Taboo could be Hardy’s best performance to date yet. The Englishman shows barely any emotion as he trudges through the streets and takes on foes Mad Max-style.

Fans will also get to see Hardy with barely any clothes on, as seen in a teaser picture posted some time back:

The miniseries also has acclaimed director Ridley Scott as its producer, along with actors Oona Chaplin and Jonathan Pryce who were both in Game of Thrones.

Taboo is set to air via BBC on January 10th 2017.
