Buy a Real Life Transformer BMW 3 Series for US$600,000

Yeah, you read correctly. You can now purchase an actual Transformer autobot.

Turkish tech company Letrons is selling the Transformer car of your childhood dreams for a whopping US$600,000.

Known as the Antimon, the Transformer prototype is a BMW 3 series that turns into a robot in 30 seconds. At this point, the transformed Antimon is only capable of moving its hands and turning its head.

As cool as that sounds like, unfortunately, the Transformer prototype isn’t road legal, and the vehicle itself isn’t made to be driven. However, you can “drive” the car with a remote control that enables the car to go up to an underwhelming speed of 12.4 miles per hour.

The Antimon is currently available for sale at the Abu Dhabi Big Boys Toys Exhibition. The Transformer prototype will be made available to the highest bidder.

The good news is that the geniuses behind the Antimon are looking to fund and create smaller Transformers that can be driven on roads. Until then, Letrons is willing to customize the Transformer car of your dreams, for the right price.
