This Uni Student Turned His Graduation Photos into Iconic Album Covers

Mark Phillips, recent graduate of the University of North Texas has released something better than a mixtape to commemorate his graduation.

University student, Mark Phillips, and his friend Affiong Harris, have created an album of graduation photos designed to resemble music albums.

The two friends designed a series of album covers using Mark’s graduation photos and cleverly modified them to look like popular albums such as Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, J.Cole’s 4 Your Eyez Only, and even Kendrick Lamar’s recent release, DAMN.

In an interview with Metro UK, Mark said. ‘These are artists that inspired me to continue chasing my dreams. And since my career is making videos, being a full time college student at the same time gets extremely stressful. However these artists as well as my family and friends inspire and keep me focused on the goals ahead no matter how hard the journey. So I just wanted to make something creative and thank them (the artists) at the same time.”
