The Vetements x Tommy Hilfiger collection will be available in February 2018 at Barneys New York, Colette, and Harrods.
The luxe streetwear collaboration won’t come cheap. Prices range from about US$300 for caps and about US$1,000 for outerwear.
News of the capsule collection was announced on July 2, via Tommy Hilfiger’s Instagram post (above).
In an interview with WWD, Hilfiger mentioned he met Vetements’ Chief Executive Officer, Guram Gvasalia, about half a year ago. Two months later, Gvasalia called Hilfiger and expressed his interest in a collaboration.
“I was very excited. What they’ve done is quite genius. They have their own rule book. They do what they want and do it when and how they want,” said Hilfiger to WWD.
Judging from the photos both in Hilfiger’s Instagram announcement and in the teasers from Vetements’ latest campaign (below), it looks like the collab will feature an array of red hoodies.
The collection is said to draw colors from a palette of fuschia, gray, heather, navy, and red.
