Rumored: Virgil Abloh x MOMA Nike Air Force 1 Collab

There may be a Virgil Abloh x MOMA Nike Air Force 1 collab that drops sometime this year.

Images of a Virgil Abloh x MOMA Nike Air Force 1 collab are currently circulating the internet.

News of the potential collaboration was revealed by Planet Aviation earlier on Sunday, January 21.

According to Planet Aviation, the collaboration between Virgil Abloh and the acclaimed art museum will be for an upcoming Nike Air Force Project. Not much is known about the sneaker collaboration, but it looks like the sneakers will feature a design similar to the original Off White x Nike Air Force 1 Low. View the image below:

The leaked image depicts a black Nike Air Force 1 Low along with a silver Nike Swoosh logo. Other aesthetic details include a white tag along with the word “AIR” emblazoned across it’s sole.

As exciting as the collab sounds like, Redditors seem to be less than impressed with the sneaker design. The criticisms ranged from “Virgil Abloh is the worst” when it comes to designing, to others calling the design too minimal (comment below).
