Japanese brand WTAPS has worked with Clarks Originals to rework a pair of Desert Boots for its 2013 Spring/Summer collection.
Originally a standard issue for the British Army during its World War II Western Desert Campaign, WTAPS has refined the classic Desert Boots, retaining elements of military aesthetics. The shoe features suede leather uppers, crepe soles, contrast brown stitching and a padded insole. Branded with WTAP’s motto “Placing Things Where They Should Be”, a herringbone pull-tab adorns the heel of the shoe to finish off this classic silhouette.
The WTAPS x Clarks Desert Boot is now available at HAVEN for US$457.
