The Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN “Black” has been teased all over Instagram, from Kanye to co-designer Steven Smith. The limited sneaker’s drop comes right after the super limited Yeezy 350 V2 “Yeshaya”, which kicked off Ye’s 2020 releases.
The Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN “Black” is a sportier take on 2019’s favorite dad shoe. To keep the sneakers light, the uppers are made from a single layer of nylon with a bold “700” embossed across it. The laces have been swapped out for thick round laces that are color-matched to the rest of the sneaker. The midsoles are the same as those of the 700 and 700 V2, except it comes in a single tone of black with hints of grey.
Overall the sneaker is incredibly understated and unassuming. The magic is truly in the details, which is where we get to admire the design and craftsmanship of the sneaker.
Adidas recently announced that the Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN “Black” will be stocked at a specific set of stores in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan. However, if you don’t plan to travel to cop a pair, you can grab them at Foot Patrol for £180 (approx. S$321.12) on February 8. Stay tuned for updates on future raffles and draws you can join!
