Kanye’s style has always been minimalist; earth-toned with a dash of color from time to time. But with news of this upcoming Yeezy Boost 700 Utility Black release, it appears that the rapper is going through an “if it’s not black, put it back” phase. Besides this latest revelation by @Yeezymafia, the past month has seen leaks of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 and 700 V2 Vanta in all-black constructions as well.
The sneaker features the characteristic full-length boost midsole and the familiar premium uppers in suede and leather construction with mesh underlays. While the Yeezy Boost 700 Utility Black isn’t as sleek as the 700 V2 Vanta, the gum-colored sole surely adds a vintage aesthetic to an otherwise aggressive-looking sneaker.
While we have no details of a local release yet, expect these to drop on June 29. Check back with us for more information on the drop.
