Kanye is working his magic. Alongside his team of designers, which includes the legendary Stan Smith, Ye has been cooking up a slew of releases for 2020. Even before the Singapore drop of Yeezy Boost 380 “Mist”, we are seeing leaks online of four new Yeezy sneakers set to drop this year including the Yzy Qntm “Barium”, Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Oreo” and a blue Yeezy Boost 380. Here is everything we know about each of them.
There are a multitude of colorways in the Yeezy 350 V2 lineup, mostly in earthy tones. For 2020, Ye is bringing back Zebra vibes with the new Oreo colorway. The sneaker’s Primeknit upper will weave in and out of black and white threads. This creates a digital noise effect, shifting in different directions from the heel to toe.
The black Swoosh will remain on the lateral sides, although there have been no confirmation yet if it will be partly transparent. The black and white colorway should be an easy wear for your daily adventures. The sneaker is rumored to drop in Fall/Winter 2020.
After a massive launch in Chicago, Ye is dropping a new colorway for the Yzy Qntm. Staying true to its name, the Yzy Qntm “Barium” will drop in a greyish, olive green color. Rumor has it that it will come with a chrome-like effect with shifting color hues in different lights. The forefoot and midsection will be constructed out of olive green Primeknit with a camo print cage. The ankle portion of the sneaker will still come in black, with a hit of white under the heel.
The Yzy Qntm “Barium” is slated to drop in Summer 2020 for US$250 (approx S$363.36).
The Yeezy Boost 380 also ventures into the new with a unique colorway. Unlike the “Mist” colorway, the new Yeezy Boost 380 colorway will sport hits of blue across the Primeknit uppers, surrounded by muddy brown patches. This creates an organic pattern that resembles waves on a beach. On the lateral sides of the sneaker, the Swoosh is constructed of a greenish mesh with the usual transparent openings that help improve breathability. These are all placed on a light neon green midsole and an organic blue outsole.
This new colorway of the Yeezy Boost 380 has no official name yet, but is slated to drop in summer 2020.
As the unusual name suggests, the Yeezy Boost 380 “Bloarf” is one of the more experimental colorways to be revealed in the recent round of leaks. The sneaker was first unveiled through leaks of the precut fabrics. The name “Bloarf” stems from the colors of the Primeknit upper – blue, orange and reflective – which are arranged to resemble a hidden gem. The combination is unusual to say the least.
The Yeezy Boost 380 “Bloarf” is rumored to drop in Spring 2020.
