Leaks reveal three new colorways for classic Air Jordan silhouettes

The images showcase brand new colorways for the Air Jordan 4 and 5.

The cleanest colorway is the Air Jordan 4 “Court Purple”, which brings to mind the 2017 “Pure Money”.

Though Jordan Brand might be facing a challenging 2020, they are still working hard to release rotation-worthy colorways for us to cop. Over the weekend, three new colorways were leaked, one of which is the highly anticipated Air Jordan 4 “Court Purple”. Here is a closer look at each sneaker.

Air Jordan 4 “Court Purple”

The Air Jordan 4 has been getting a lot of attention in 2020, especially after Virgil Abloh used his version of the sneaker at Off-White’s womenswear runway show. This new colorway seems to resemble 2017’s “Pure Money” drop, retaining a white base throughout the entire sneaker. Pops of purple are added to the eyelets, tongue insignia and padding. Overall, the sneaker is incredibly wearable and perfect for those looking for a pair of Jordans to use daily. The Air Jordan 4 “Court Purple” is slated to drop on May 14.

Similar to the Air Jordan 4, the Air Jordan 5 has received the Off-White touch. The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 saw a highly anticipated drop in Chicago over All-Star weekend. Now, Nike is dropping a women’s exclusive Air Jordan 5 with an all-new paint splatter colorway. Pink, yellow and purple paint splatters dot the white uppers. Red hits are seen on the tongue and outsole, while the sock lining comes in pastel lavender. The sneaker is rumored to hit shelves on April 3.

Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Grape”

After the Air Jordan 5 “Grape Fresh Prince” dropped, it became clear that there is an element of nostalgia attached to the pop culture sneaker. The Air Jordan 5 “Grape” caught its big break when it was featured on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Not long after, the purple variants of the sneaker became the go-to choice for fans and sneakerheads alikeThe Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Grape” embraces it, wrapping purple suede across the entire upper of the sneaker. The outsole retains the black-on-transparent design that we are all familiar with. The jet fighter flames, tongue branding and Nike Air Max branding on the heel retain the turquoise color as well. This time, to match the purple, the tongue comes in a matte black. The Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Grape” is rumored to drop in April 2020.
