Update: April 7, 1:55 pm (Singapore time)
The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 “Plot Twist” will likely retail for US$225 (approx. S$321.48) and will drop around the 2020 Holiday season. It will receive a very extensive release, with sizes ranging from toddlers to adult sizing. Stay tuned for more updates!

The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 “Plot Twist” might redeem the silhouette for Nike fans.

Following the negative reception of the Off-White Air Jordan 5 “Black”, Virgil Abloh has given fans a true plot twist. Right after the sold-out drop of the Off-White Air Jordan 5 “Black”, he teased a new “Plot Twist” colorway of the sneaker. And true to the name, the reveal has changed the community’s opinion on the silhouette – people actually like the new sneaker.

The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 “Plot Twist” gets a much lighter color palette – a mix of cream hues that create a much softer looking sneaker. The shoe seems to use the same thin-plastic uppers and continues the “Nike Air” concept, with circular cut-outs in the same spots.

Other elements that have remained the same are the hits of red on the outsoles and on the full silver tongues. The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 “Plot Twist” also has the ‘23’ embroidered on the heels, referencing Jordan’s jersey number, and the same yellow outsoles.

Virgil shares the credit for the revival of the Nike SB Dunk with Travis Scott, and now has revealed two Air Jordan 5s. Could this mark a return for the silhouette?

Currently, there is no date set for the drop, so stay tuned for updates!
